Denis Tuohy began his broadcasting career in Belfast in 1960 as a BBC newscaster/reporter and has since covered eight British General Elections and six U.S. Presidential campaigns. He produced and presented the award-winning UTV series, The Troubles I’ve Seen and was a presenter and reporter for Panorama, 24 Hours and Tonight (BBC1), TV Eye and This Week (ITV). For RTE, he presented Cards of Identity and has contributed to The Sunday Show and Sunday Miscellany. He has made many contributions to BBC Radio Ulster’s Thought for the Day. His memoirs Wide-eyed in Medialand; A Broadcaster’s Journey were published in 2005.
